Hola — I’m adrian velázquez, an independent photographer with expertise in film and digital photography.
I began working in visual narrative-building and storytelling by accompanying social movements, focusing on political documentary photography. Since then, I’ve been expanding my focus to include culture, hospitality, lifestyle, music and nightlife.
My practice is versatile: I balance my work by creating images in both analog and digital formats, often combining the two in a unique style to meet any variety of creative visual needs. With the goal of supporting my clients and collaborators in creating impactful and effective visual narratives, I always prioritize building trust with my subjects and a commitment to capturing the essence of the moments in front of my lens.
While I operate primarily between the United States and Mexico, I am available for assignments globally.
